It will be your children’s birthday in a little while! You, as a parent sees that it is time for you to organize a cool birthday gathering. Most parents would know what to do for their children’s birthday: Fix a date, look for venue, food preparation, guests list, and the like. Those are pretty typical actions that you will know.

Do not give – Try not to give educational gifts like assessment textbooks or the dull dictionary! I know there are some children who might want these but these kids rare. I have a neighbor where their seven years old boy wanted to read complete version of the “Golden Compass” book that is 300+ pages! Now, I have to define correctly: Educational toys are fine, but whatever thing that is too ‘study’ like will not be suggested.
Other ideas – There are items that are suitable for both gender. Look at age groups. If the kids are above nine years old, the presents could include skates, basketball set and Nintendo DS. For younger children between 6-8 years old, they can have Lego set and boardgames. For the very young ones, they can have mini bikes and toy cars.
There are a lot of suggestions for an ideal birthday gift, I would also advise bringing your kid to giant toy stores and see what get them excited. After you know, you can surprise your child with the gift! For parents who are more prudent, you can ask your kid to look and pick the present that they want. In that way, the kid can also have the thrill of waiting for the gift that they wish for.
