Planning a 25th Anniversary Party in Houston, TX. I need a location under $1500?

Im throwing a party for my in laws 25th anniversary and i have no idea where to have it at. It has to be super nice and small. We are only inviting 50 people. So need for a huge place. I was maybe thinking of a beautiful hotel. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Maybe you went to a place thaty was extremly phenomenal and would like to share… I need some help!

It really depends on what kind of person your friend is. The best thing to do is to call around to the bars and clubs that you normally go to, or the ones you guys have wanted to go to. Tell the person that you are planning a party for 50 people and you want to have the party at their club/bar. Ask them what they can do for you. Be blunt. Literally ask them, “what can you do for me?” They will lay the red carpet out because it’s guaranteed attendance, plus you are willing to spend money beforehand as well.

If you are hell bent on having at a hotel, then you can do the same thing with the hotel. Call the hotel and tell them what you are planning. They will put you in contact with the person who can help you. Explain the situation, and ask, “what can you do for me?”

With either situation don’t mention money until you get some free stuff from them. Once they throw some free stuff in, they’ll usually ask how much money you’re willing to spend. Always give a range as well. If you’re willing to spend $1500, then say your range is between $500 – $1500.

Get ALL pricing, and ALL agreements in a written contract signed by the owner or manager!!! Make sure you get receipts, and if even one thing is out of place tell them immediately because it is their responsibility to make sure they provide you with everything you need.

If they breach the agreement, you can get a refund to!
