Should I Create a Website or a Blog for my Party Planning Company?

I can type a word document, write a blog, answer emails and ask questions on Yahoo Answers; but apart from that, I know nothing about computers.
Would I be wise to start up a company blog? Or would it be better if I went into a full-fledged web site? I plan parties and have a ton of decorations for hire. I have a feeling the website would be more benificial.
If so, is there a site – sort of like blogger.com – that has easy build-your-own-website options?
Thanks so much for any advice.

U better hav ur own website…and http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com is a great place to start…they give u a software called yahoo sitebuilder…there is nothing to learn in it! Its like typing a word document.

It also handles all the complex process of uploading ur webpages to the server and all that…u just hit the publish button, sit back and enjoy. The cost of hosting at yahoo is just above reasonable…so not much of a problem…
