How hard is it to get into a Event/Wedding/Party planning career?
I am really intersted in doing this… but I have no idea where to start, or who to go to.
I heard it is a very difficult job to get in.
Can someone pleaseeee help… Especially if there is any Event Planners reading this. Can you give me some advice?
start by doing free-bies for your family and friends so you can get a feel for what is going on, if you do a good job people who go to the party will get interested in who organized the whole event. by doing this as well you can have a feel of the actual job and if you would consider this a long time career.
now i am talking at a standpoint of doing your own business, i am not sure of what the situation is as an employee. i did some event planning for about a year and i never had to hire an employee my events were between 200-1000 guests, so getting a “job” in an event planning company may be more difficult.
