What is Austin, TX college like? And the city, the people, food, culture?
I’m thinking about applying there for 2012 fall semester, but people tell me it’s not a good college, professors there barely speak english, they’re impatient. Others tell me the college is great, campus is big, people are lively and friendly, the city is beautiful.
But really? I’m just looking for a place where I can be myself with others and a more lively, cultured place where there are fun and exciting things to do.
I have been there, but didn’t go to UTexas
It is a beautiful and clean city. Lots of outdoor recreation opportunities, and a very lively college bar scene. Much different than the rest of Texas.
