Well. it is supposed to be just fun but that is definitely not the way it comes across to me. Little children being dressed up in horrible skeleton costumes knocking at doors for money or whatever seems a thoroughly bad idea all round.
What is more they do not know what sort of peoples doors they might be knocking on if they go round without parents. The world can be a pretty nasty place for children who are unguarded as news today in the UK shows all too clearly.
