Good baking/cooking ideas to do with kids?
I have a full time babysitting job for 2 girls. We love to do arts and crafts and to cook. I have lots of arts and crafts ideas but am running out of ideas for cooking.
I’d love to learn some fun kid-friendly cooking projects. The girls are both old enough to handle big projects so anything goes. As long as it is delicious and fun.
Some examples of things we like to do is
make gum
bake cookies with paint icing
make pancake or muffins
bake cakes for holidays (like july 4th, hehe)
make cookies for christmas in july
and we made playdoh once – even though that’s not really a cooking thing
(I only do summers so we get some crazy ideas to celebrate and enjoy)
make a basic bread dough and make individual pizza’s they will learn about food and enjoy the results get them to cut up veggies and pineapple ,add some sliced sausage if they like the whole thing should take about an hour
