What the closest beach to Orlando FL?
Trying to take a fun weekend trip. We want to go to orlando, but we also want to go to a beach. Is there a beach near orlando fl. If so how far is it and what’s the name of it.
Cocoa Beach. It’s pretty much directly east and will take you 40-60 minutes to get there (if your closer to the airport, it’s even faster). Cape Canaveral isn’t as close, but the two are like side-by-side, so for Cape Canaveral you’d only have to tack on another five minutes or so. For the record, I like the beaches in Cape Canaveral better. They don’t get as much traffic, so their quieter and cleaner (Cocoa Beach looks like a landfill during spring break).
