allo out there… any knitters?

I love knitting! people who don’t knit just don’t understand how important it is. everyone tells me that i am going to look back and say” why on earth did I try that?!” (sigh) I have recently discovered 50 sticks otherwise known as speed stix!!! I love them so much! Afghans in 6 hours!!! and beautiful lacy (3- hour)shawls in drop knit when you triple up on yarn preferably with a fun fur in the mix. Also, circular needles are on my to-do list but with Christmas coming up, it is only a thought as I am way too busy to try a new skill! everyone needs a scarf or a doggy sweater or a shawl or a blanket, i need to go shopping for gift cards to pair with all the presents and those little Chinese boxes that would be delightful to package them in So, why do you knit? the yarn, the needles, the result, your s&b group……..

the yarn that i use for a good 99% of my projects would be red heart super saver yarn because its only $2.00 a skein and each skein has 364 yards.

i knit because im incredibly addicted to the craft. I love that i can custom make my projects, make it any color i want that known and i love that it keeps me busy due to my strong case of axiety. I also knit because my parents said no way. a great way to rebel against those kind of people.

very rarely do you see me anywhere without my knitting. ive been knitting since June 12, 2005 and so far this is how many projects ive made including crochet and a bite of sewing.
