If you can’t be out jumping a horse, then playing jumping horse games on the computer is the next best thing! The best ones are free, of course. (I love free online horse games.) They also have good graphics, are easy enough to play the first time, but keep getting harder so you stay interested, and are safe for kids. I won’t play games that send me spam once I sign up, install spyware on my computer, or ask for too much personal information.
Here are some of the best horse jumping games I’ve found. I hope you have as much fun playing them as I do.
My favorite online horse jumping game is called Show Jumping. It’s super easy to get started, but I have to warn you it gets hard quickly. You get to choose from three horses to decide which one you want to ride. Then you chose your outfit (again, there are three choices) and then you train a bit.
After that it’s time to jump your horse! Just hold down the space bar and control your speed with the arrow keys. As you go up levels it gets harder and harder. Don’t be discouraged if it takes you a while to get past level three. It takes a lot of practice to master level three, and I know few girls who have mastered level four.
Another one you may want to try is called Horse Show Jumping. The goal is to jump cleanly over the jumping course of obstacles. There is a time limit, and I have to confess, I find this one hard to play. But since it’s free, there’s no reason not to try.
Horse Jumping at Funny Games is another fun and fast game. This 3-D horse racing game allows you to ride a horse with plenty of obstacles to jump over. You have to make sure you get over each obstacle at least one time, and put some flair into your jumping. It’s cute and funny! You will have to make sure you have the latest version of Shockwave installed on your computer before you can play, but it’s a free, safe download.
If you are just getting started with playing horse games online you may want to try Jumporama. It’s very cute, and it’s so popular that they have created Jumporama 2: Cross Country.
And finally, Bella Sara fans will want to try Bellisimo’s Jumping Contest in the arena. You can play Bella Sara for free, but if you really want to explore and take advantage of all the things this game has to offer you’ll want to pick up some Bella Sara trading cards use the codes to unlock more horses and things to do.
