Any ideas for a school fete? Plz help!?
my school fete is coming up and my group needs an idea for it. the other groups have sponge throwing, magic shows, secondhand shops, soccer games, ice-cream cones, popcorn, makeup, hair salons, nail polish, face painting, painting studios, lolly bags, show bags, slime and dough for sale, jewellery, lolly guessing and competitions. they’re great ideas.
but we want something different, quick and easy and cheap. i’m in yr 6 and there’s a total of 3 kids in my group(including me). our school is using the money for charity and this means alot to my group!
Different, quick, easy, and cheap? Hmmm.
I have Wii parties. If any of you have a video game console of any kind, you could set up an “arcade booth” and charge a fee to play.
Even better, sometimes places like hollywood video/game crazy will set up a tournament with you. You charge a fee, and the fee goes to charity. The game rental store loves it because they get publicity and a tax break for making the “donation” to charity. You love it because it’s fun and they do the lion’s share of the work. If your school already has TVs available with the proper input ports, all you have to do is coordinate with the right people and you’re set!
It would be “different” and overwhelmingly popular.
Otherwise you can host one of those games where the duckies floating in a pond have little numbers on their rumps that correspond to a prize.
