Any ideas for a craft stall at a school fete ?
We have the obvious lavender bags, toffee apples, fairy stuff, cakes etc !!
Any ideas that dont cost a fortune ???
* you could try to make friendship bracelets & other accessories such as head/hairbands, scrunchies, with scrap/leftover fabric strips or wool. add some adornments such as beads/shells/sequins etc. to further brighten them up.
* try bookmarks cut in various shapes such as animals, flowers, cartoon characters, etc. and made out of different types of materials eg. paper, card, fabric, wool, string, leather, …..
* collect old greeting & invitation cards & recycle them into new cards [by cutting out & gluing the pictures or making collage, etc. on new card] or also into bookmarks, etc.
Or use some blank sides to draw/make some sort of daily/weekly schedule grids that may come in handy for school-goers. decorate with paper flowers, etc. to make them look good.
* make a list of the books for different grades that are to be read. check their size & design a collection of funky & sober dust covers for them.
* make papier mache articles, games & artwork – check out www.artattack.co.uk for some great ideas to make simple, cheap articles from waste materials.
you can have a collection of all these different type of things so as to attract a wider target audience…
hope these help.
all the best & have fun.
