Dallas TX for a day, what to do?
Going to have a free day before we see the Cowboys in Arlington. Anything fun to do (that isnt too expensive like Six flags) around Dallas, Irving?
I love dogs (A cool pet shop?), video games and nice scenery (gardens ect)

Yes I wanted to go to the state fair, but I belive it ends on the 18th… which is before I will be there.

You didn’t say when you’d be here, and of course it depends on the weather, but you might enjoy this. The northern part of Irving is called Las Colinas, and at Hwy 114 and O’Connor Blvd is Williams Square.
There is a larger than life bronze sculpture of several mustangs running through water. It’s beautiful. Also at Williams Square is the Mandalay Canal which is a European-style waterway with cobblestone walkways lined with shops and restaurants. It’s free unless you want to shop or eat there.
