looking for an appropriate container for a sand ceremoney?
My parents are having a 50th wedding anniversary and we want to do a sand ceremony as part of their celebration..They will add sand to a container and so will each of their six children to create a sand art in place of the unity candle ritual. Am searching for a container for this and would like one that can be kept afterwards as a keepsake of the event. I am unable to find ANYTHING that would be appropriate…..the ones i have found have been without tops and i would really like them to have something to take home and keep ….any ideas?
A vase with a narrow top in which you could cork when finished would work. Or even a wine bottle…you can buy them online along with corks or a decorative bottle stopper…
Wine bottles are usually sold by the case…the leeners website below are about $12-$30 per case…a case being either 12 or 24 bottles per case depending on the kind you get.

There are vases designed specifically for the sand ceremony, but if you want to cover it…this would be my suggestion.
