Does this sound like a good idea?
Sorry this is long..
I’m 15. I live with my mom & step-dad, and last year I sat them down & asked if I could get my belly button pierced (when I was still 14). They said I could get it at the end of the school year, IF I got all A’s & B’s & helped out around the house a ton. They would have said no if I hadn’t gone through all the research & everything before I asked, because that impressed them.
Anyway, I got grounded in February (it was a pretty stupid reason too, not gonna lie) & along with my month-long grounding, they took away permission to get the piercing.
My parents are really fitness-oriented & like when I want to go running or go to the gym with them, etc. I’m skinny but I want to get ab muscle this summer, so do you think if I do it, I should bring up the piercing again as some sort of celebration? Hah, I know it sounds stupid. But I don’t know what else to do & it’s something I truly want.
Any other ideas would be greaaatly appreciated:)
