Sims 2 PC question!!!!!!?
hi! so recently my desktop crashed, and being in a Sims 2 addiction phase, i needed to play! so, i downloaded my Sims 2 Double Deluxe game onto my laptop (which is a Toshiba) as well as all the expansion packs i have (open for buisness, seasons, pets, free time, apartment life, store edition, university, bon voyage, celebration stuff, teen style, and IKEA home stuff) .. now i am learning about the Sims Stories which say that they are lap-top safe… does that mean the regular Sims 2 double deluxe game was not? should i un-install the games?
Ea contends that it is laptop safe, ie won’t freeze when making families, moving into houses, ect. But according to things I’ve read it does freeze up. I was able to run sims 2 and 3 on a gateway 600ygr with no problems. It would freeze from time to time while moving sims, but if you use a program that shuts down background programs duing game play memory freezes don’t happen often when playing sims 1, 2 or 3 on a laptop.
