Each year millions of people arrive in the United States to spend their vocation. New York alone welcomes 45 million visitors each year. Some people travel hours in a plane and return again and again every year. What is it that brings them to States?
The fact is that no other country probably has as much to offer the tourist as the United States. There is just so much variety that there will always be a place to win the heart of even the most hard to please visitor. There is so much to see that it would just not be possible to cover everything in one lifetime. This doesn’t stop people trying though, and people return to America again and again.
One of the most popular destinations is New York. This is easy to understand as there is no other city like this on Earth. This is a city built on cultural diversity and it accepted people from all over the world who later made it their home; most were escaping poverty or hatred. The big Apple is made on the dreams of all those people who arrived so it is no wonder that it is such a magical place. Those who visit often feel a special connection to the city that they will never be able to shake off. People really need to be warned prior to arriving that it is very likely that New York might capture a part of their heart.
Disneyland and Disney World are also big attractions in the United States. In fact for some people this will be the only part of the America that they visit. Both of these destinations offer all that is needed to create the perfect family holiday. There is no better place to bring children and for most kids this will be a dream come true. Many adults return to being kids during their visit.
Florida is another great destination with lots of family fun. If you love the sun and beaches then this is the place to be. Key West is Florida’s own Caribbean Island and a really romantic destination as well as a great place for all types of water sports. The Everglades will provide you with the chance to see one of the most diverse eco systems on our planet. If night life is your thing then you will want to visit South Beach. Tampa is a good place for parks and museums.
California has so much to offer any visitor. Hollywood is where people go to dream of being a star or just to rub shoulders with some of the biggest celebrities. Santa Cruz is where you go to find the best beaches. No visit to the area will be complete without a visit to San Francisco; this is probably the most tolerant and laid back city in the world and well worth a visit. If you want to just relax then time spent in Big Sur will be what is in order; there you will find a nice mix of mountains and oceans.
