What are some of your favorite technical metal albums?
Mine:
Dream Theater: Systematic Chaos
Images and Words
Death: Symbolic
Sound of Preserverance
Andromeda: Extension of a Wish
The Faceless- Alkadema
Arsis- Celebration of Guilt
Decrepit Birth- Diminishing Between Worlds
Rush- Hemispheres
2112
Dying Fetus- Destroy the Opposition
Nile- Ithyphallic
Opeth- Still Life
Deliverance
Whisper Supremacy (and) And Then You’ll Beg – Cryptopsy
I mean come on how much more original and experimental can you be on those 2 albums? Fu*king genius riffing from Jon Levasseur. Such a shame he called it a day and got burnt out playing extreme music. Powerful, BIZARRE, Major Technicality, killer thrash riffs as well. Then you have Flo who’s drumming is FLAWLESS. The power vocals of Mike D. They weren’t afraid to step out of the classic traditional DM vocals and just go with more of a Hardcore vocalist. KILLER SH*T
The New Reign – Born Of Osiris
obZen – Meshuggah
Annihilation of the Wicked – Nile
Noctambulant – Spawn Of Possession
Probing Tranquility – Sleep Terror
The Thin Line Between – Neuraxis
Feeding the Abscess – Martyr
Onset of Putrefaction – Necrophagist
Focus – Cynic
The Way Of All Flesh – Gojira
and many many more
Into the Groove – Madonna – Celebration Album Version

Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever [VHS]
$19.98 From Wikipedia: Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever was a 1983 television special produced by Suzanne de Passe for Motown Records, to commemorate Motown's twenty-fifth year of existence. (Motown was founded in January 1959, meaning that a twenty-fifth anniversary special should have aired in 1984, not 1983. One could argue that Gordy's vision of what would become "Hitsville U.S.A." was conceived ... |
