The cover for the new ‘greatest hits’ album was created by street pop artist Mr. Brainwash, who’s thrown Marilyn Monroe, early Madonna and Andy Warhol into a blender for the ‘Queen Of Pop’s’ latest effort.
In 2009, Mr. Brainwash was commissioned with creating the cover art for Madonna’s Celebration album. A Greatest Hits compilation, which was remastered and produced by Madonna herself. In true Mr. Brainwash style, he used an iconic image and infused the Marilyn Monroe-esque features as he had done with many other famous faces, to create a unique piece of art for the album cover. The entire album booklet was also designed by Mr. Brainwash, in which he infused a street art sense of style with some unique and famous images of Madonna including images of her throughout her career, variations of the album cover, and a two page portrait created entirely of shattered vinyl records.
