Surprise Superhero Party for Boyfriend’s 21st?
My boyfriend turns 21 next month and I’m thinking about throwing him a surprise party and making it superhero or comic book themed. But I need a lot of ideas! What sort of food would fit into this? What kind of games/activities? How about decorations? Do you think it would be better to ask people to come dressed up as their favorite superhero or dressed as a superhero they create themselves? The only idea I have so far is making him a batman cake since batman’s his favorite. And probably some version of taboo, like whenever someone says birthday its like the weakness of the superheros so we all need to take a shot to get our powers back. 
Or would it be better to just make the person who says the word drink? Any and all ideas are appreciated!
That sounds awesome. The batman cake would be pretty cool. I would do regular party decorations but if you want some thing comic book themed you can go to walmart or target and get comic book things like plates and cups and so on. Since he likes batman you could use the enemies of batman for your Inspiration. One of his enemies is the riddler so you could make large cut out question marks and put them on the walls. Another enemies is Poison Ivy so you can get some fake plants and poison ivy and use that as well. For the Joker you could use playing cards. For music you can get sound tracks from comic book movies (spiderman, batman, ironman). I think you could do any type of food. At the parties I have done I just make finger food people seem to like that. You could make spider an bat cookies. You could do veggies with some kind of dip, fruits, chips, little smokies, crackers cheese and meat little things like that. Pick games that are fun to do in large groups (the actual game Taboo is really fun in a large group) and drinking games are great too. I would have people come dressed as their favorite or as one they create then you might not have like four spidermans show up lol. As for your idea about the taking shots I would have just the person who says the word to take a shot. You could make everybody refer to each other by their superhero name or they have to take a shot. You could create other rules too (not too many or it will get crazy) but rules like you cant take any of your super hero gear off or you have to take a shot. Sorry Im typing a lot but last you could make different kinds of drinks but call them names like the incredable hulk im sure you could look up recipes for it online. Well good luck
