Do you have any Bachelorette Party ideas – Austin, Tx?

We are a small group (about 10) of hot mama tattooed 30 yr old women and we want to take our friend out for her Bachelorette party. She is not really into strippers. I have tossed around kareoke, roller skating, esther follies, etc. We want to drink, laugh, and do something fun without an outrageous cost! Thanks for any help.

The best bachelorette parties are ones where everyone is taken care of. Firstly, book a taxi minibus (or if you can afford it a limo) so that everyone can have a drink and not drive. You can give small gifts to the bride like naughty underwear or bath items. Traditional cakes can be naughty too, or odd shaped chocolates (willy shaped) that people will find a laugh. You can choose a theme like having hawaiian drinks and leis for everyone to wear that ties the group together. Or a cowgirls theme where everyone dresses in vests and jeans and boots. Something easy but not uncomfortable. Each lady at the party could get a small little gift to take home too.
Choose a venue that all of you will feel comfortable in, a good bar with Karaoke would be fun.
Meet up somewhere first so that every one can stay in one place or get back home safely. That is where friends and bridesmaids can be dropped off and everyone can have a light bite to eat and maybe a glass of champagne to get into the mood. Have the taxi pick you up about an hour after everyone arrives.
Make or buy a sash for the bride-to-be to wear and buy her a kiddie crown with maybe a net curtain for a fake veil. Make sure it isn’t too heavy or long because that can get annoying, just something to mark her out as special.
Everyone else should also have some sort of pin like a large rosette that says Hen Party or Bachelorette so that you look like a team.
Make sure that she is safe and having a good time. Offer regular drinks of water for everyone so that no one gets sick when they drink, the idea is to have fun but not be ill at the end of the night.
Another alternative is for everyone to meet up in a spa and have some nice treatments, but that is a bit sedate and usually for mixed parties where the bride’s mother and in-laws attend.
Flowers are always a lovely decoration and vases filled and set out in the place you are meeting says welcome.
Make sure that everyone can get home safely. Finally, make sure the party a couple of weeks or at least a week BEFORE the wedding and not the night before the big day. The bride wants to have her beauty sleep the night before the big day.
Make the bride feel special and include everyone in the planning so that they feel like a part of it.
Have fun.
Best wishes.
